This pipe carries air from the air box to the turbocharger air inlet. Due to its location at the turbocharger and because of other connections such as the PCV breather hose this pipe may require replacement. Since the N20 utilizes a MAF sensor any air leaks past the MAF sensor can cause a lean running fault. This air inlet hose is a good place to look in the event of a vacuum leak on the intake side of the engine.
